Tommy has over 35 years experience in playing jazz and has also applied his expertise to teaching, both privately and for Education Boards. He offers the following:- PRIVATE TUITION ON DRUMS, PERCUSSION AND JAZZ VIBRAPHONE - BEGINNERS TO ADVANCED, ALSO JAZZ IMPROVISATION STUDIES FOR ALL INSTRUMENTS. Live performance workshops, ideally suited for schools, colleges, summer schools etc.

1. Jazz Harmony. Triads, chords, modes and chord families, and their application in Swing, Jazz, Funk and Latin idioms.
2. Origins of Jazz rythms.
3. Jazz Studies, development of styles and relating Jazz History to contemporary playing.
4. The Rythm Section, emphasising Empathy, the relationship between BASS, DRUMS, AND KEYBOARDS/GUITAR.
